that they dont want anymore.

Looking for a acoustic or semi acoustic for me and the youngest to learn together. Doesnt have to be mint , i will happily take something older long as its in reasonable nick and sounds okay.
I will collect, no need to mess around with carriers, maybe you can give us a few pointers at the same time , im a good listener and can drink any amount of tea you can make :D

Have tried local music/charity/2hand shops and there all full of over priced tat

Watcha got ?? or do you know of a place to go ?

Thanks in advance

Regards Tony:thumb

Gowaan. Feel like a giant, sound like a hula girl!

I have a lovely Fender acoustic with hard case, strap and little stand (if I can find the stand!)
I bought it about 5 years ago with all good intentions but played it (should I say made a noise with it!) for a couple of hours and it has sat in the case ever since.
I would want £100 for it though, which is a fair bit less than I paid for it!
I live at CB24 5JB so not a million miles from you.

Sorry mate - I freecycled both my guitars just before Christmas :(

I've still got a violin you can have though :D

That is awesome. Always fancied one, Mr B. :thumb

You are welcome to a long term loan if you fancy. next brekker I'll bring it along.

I found the standard is just too small for my badger's hands so haven't played for a couple of years.

Have my eye on a tenor (17" neck) for later this year.

This morning two work colleagues pulled a small guitar out of a skip. All complete with soft case to boot. I tried to blag it off them but failed.
Our resident guitarist tuned it and gave it a twang, sounded alright. if only I seen this thread earlier before I left for work. :guitarist

I could have been the next seasick steve :D

Thanks for all your replys chaps :clap

Freecycled :nenau Did you turn it into a pushbike :D

Violin , I reckon i could have the house emptied in minutes :D

You could have that down to seconds if you have a dog as well - they love to join in :eek

Freecycle is like eBay, but without any money - it's great for getting rid of stuff that is too much hassle to sell, like old wardrobes etc., which have to be collected personally or the postage would be silly. It also means that less stuff goes into landfill - check out this page to see where your nearest group is.

You can place wanted ads as well as offers of kit, so there's nothing stopping you asking there if anyone has any old guitars :thumb2
