Any one used one of these?

I understand that to use a powered air pump you need to fit another cigarette type socket direct from the battery, just wondered what the benefits of this hand pump is, apart from not draining the bikes battery.

Fit another socket, pay less than half the price of this for a decent leccy pump, and don't break a sweat reinflating a puncture repair. And run the engine when using the pump.

I use an electric air pump on my 2010 RT (if that makes any difference) via crocodile clips on the battery....had to use it for the first time whilst out today spookily enough!

I have a low noise air compressor (65db) in garage, absolutely silent when up to pressure and holds huge pressure for weeks, so easy to use and doesnt wake house. Cost about £130 delivered.

No more foot or hand pumps inconvenience.

Always check tyres before each ride and use that for topping up.

Never need anything else on road unless get a puncture. Then have a kit with pressurised valves for fast inflation.

If you've never considered an air compressor, I'd highly recommend them.

This is the one I bought.

Then bought the air hose and Draper Gauge to get going.
