being a guzzi man, i never owned a laverda, but i've ridden a few.
the importer, 3X is just up the road from me & myself and a mate used to do the escorts for test rides at open days etc. so i more or less rode them all (ditto ducati, guzzi, harley who they also imported).
my favourite laverda was the vanilla 1200. loads of poke with less vibes. never tempted me away from my le mans though. couldn't get on with the way you had to wrestle them into corners.
my mate had a harris jota. now that thing REALLY vibrated
