Any other tools I need

Hello
I do lots of my own service etc and so I have a pretty good tool selection. I have just had to order a T55 torks in order to remove the final drive.
My question is, are there any other slightly unusual tool I might need?

I found that by having two sets of feelers gauges meant I could do the value gaps easier.

Apart from that, so far I've not found anything I have needed any special tools for.

... for my previous post; many self-service bods use Wurth feeler gauges as they come in singles with colour coded tabs. They do occasionally come up in the For Sale section, or you could put out feelers

In addition to the above I would add:

Coil stick puller - go for the metal not the plastic one.
Thin walled spark plug socket
Small (E10?) Torx socket for the bash plate (if you have one) and I think the gear lever (but not sure as I'm at work).
I have extended torx as well since there's a number which are easier to get out with those.
As well as the Wurth feeler gauges for the valves they also do one for the rocker end play adjustment.

Look out for secondhand GS911's - they really are worth having and do a lot more than you might think. I've saved several trips to the dealer with fault finding as well as the help with servicing.

the little hex bar jobbie for undoing the front wheel spindle - and carry it on any trips as if you need a tyre in a hurry you will no doubt find the garage wont have one (the law of sod)

A flat bladed screwdriver works as well as anything else. That way you have one tool with two uses.

True and I have done it that way, but with my luck and hamfisted mitts I'm more likely to break the recess that the screwdriver fits into..... DAMHIK

Turn the puller upside down and you have an egg cup....
