The standard screen, with tobinators, just isn't doing it for me. I want something wider to accommodate my supersize self. I'm thinking of fitting the Adventure screen. Do I need any extras?
just done this mod myself bought a screen from nippy norman at a very resonable 70 quid ish had to then buy the tobinators to suit at over 100 quid,,you may be able to do it cheeper by useing the adv mounting parts???but with the tobs i didnt have to cut the screen and the whole package works well and was a worthwhile mod...gord ps i also fitted risers which bring the bars up and back so mabey this is why i didnt have to cut the screen....
Akcherly, if you are going to use tobinators with the adventure screen you don't need the spacers (labelled 3) as there is a special tobinator spacer. The instructions for fitting are on the Wunderlich site at http://www.wunderlich.de/images/Anleitungen/pdf/8110400.pdf and these have a good picture of all the bits. If you talk to NIppy Norman I think he might be able to supply the "Adventure adapter" kit that turns tobinators for the 1150 standard screen into the kit for the Adventure screen.
Alternatively someone will have a full Adventure tobinator set for sale in a few weeks, they always do, so buy that and sell your standard set...
