Any recommendations for a hotel in Aachen?

I know I could do one of the booking sites but thought someone here might have a personal / interesting experience. Good "interesting"!

We have stayed at the Relais Konisberg on the 258 a few times in the past, but whether it is still run by the same couple I don't know. It was over ten years ago.

I’ve stayed in the Parkhotel Quellenhof. Posh and pricey but comfy.

Also stayed in 3 Konig, cheaper and closer to cathedral but also comfy.

Thanks. The 3Konig has no parking unfortunately. The Parkhotel is very nice but a tad above budget on this occasion.

From memory decent underground car park close by 3Konig - couple of minutes walk away

Underground pay parking is available in the centre. The Quellenhof would be first choice, or failing that maybe the Novotel - both ideal if you want to check out the sights of the city.

However, if this just a 1 night stop-over, I would probably look elsewhere TBH - tell us more.
