Anybody ever ridden a C1

Its certainly different than a car !

That's spooky. Lately I've found myself eyeing them up. I'm looking at the 200cc exec model with a humungous box on the back and thinking that it would be better than a car.

Dont know if it would be better than a car or not... I use my F 8 GS to commute , to early yet to say which is "best" The back box is a nice extra to have ... I would like one but the few that come up are ching ching and I wont be throwing much money at the C1 ... I intend to clean the panel work over the Christmas and might treat it to a new battery ... Maybe ...

I live in a city but don't have a commute. My K1 is perfect for longer journeys. I had a scooter not so long ago (AN400) but the problem for me is that most still lack any serious carrying capacity for shopping.

5 months in

This week I will have the C1(callsign Charlie one ) or uncle Charles if you prefare 5 months.. A little tidying over the Christmas brought it up a little .. Expandable luggage from the euro city shop and some reflect stickers where the crash bungs used to be .Some electrical gremlims which turned out to be a loose wire on a sensor and a loose earth bolt on the starter combined with the earth loom melting on the engine casing have now been seen to and its turning out to be quite a apt commuter .. Excellent weather protection and touching 80 to the gallon. For some reason this machine is really testing my patience with my fellow commuters and cars just wont move out of the overtaking lane on the short piece of duel carriageway I use on the way to work.. Quick enough at the traffic light grand prix.. People still laugh and point though but I am noticing this less and less ... A interesting machine that is great fun to ride...
