Yeah, yeah - youse are all just jealous that I had the foresight to bring the nice snugly headed vest I have to say I'd have been lost without it on the ride home last night

Padge, I like that first pic. Not sure it will attract many bikers to Donegal in November though

thanks to all the guys on the trip out on Sunday. it was hit or miss if I could be bothered getting out for bed at 6.30 on a sunday morning, but was well worth the trip. Everybody made me feel welcome... even tho I had a KTM!

The railway line was an adventure on its own. Only for the celt and sugarcube I was stuck there for the night. When the bow wave started to come over the windshield... I got the feeling we should turn back!

One the way home was horendous weather. I was lucky I was only going to tyrone, jockser (i think... excuse me if I got the names wrong) had to go on to Kildare, but I supppose when you have a heated jacket.. its only seems like a trip to the shops.

Anyway... speak to you all again soon.. hopefully in the spring when I have my new bemmer!

PS.. Thanks to the celt for sorting the small matter of me forgetting to pay for my breakfast! , and tuned in (i think) for the laminated maps!

BTW whats a headed vest

A godsend

jockser had to go on to Kildare, but I supppose when you have a heated jacket.. its only seems like a trip to the shops.

The vest kept the rain which was running down the back of my neck & up my sleeves from freezing me to death I found visibility to be much more of a problem with oncoming lights (its amazing how many cars have badly adjusted headlights ) reflecting off the rain drops inside & outside the visor
