Anybody know how many were built???

I don't know for sure... but the number I hear the most is in the region of 625/650 - worldwide! :eek Which also makes it  :D

I also read somewhare (possibly here on this site) there was 625 made in total, 325 went to the states, that makes them very thinly spread around europe africa down under etc. What I do know for a fact is there are 4 of them within a 15 mile radius of me,:eek Is there many in your area ???

650 worldwide? odd number for a production run is that plus all the ones which are raced by that finnish bloke and the american guy...?

the less the better as far I'm concerned....:augie

Me,Joe Bar and one other Megamoto within 30 miles of Pidcock Motorcycles, Long Eaton. :D

I think there's even less Megamoto's about than Enduro's though Dave. I believe Piddy's have sold 3/4, but mine came from Wollaston and is the only one they've sold.

I got close when I missed you at Piddy's, but I've never seen another Megamoto on the road yet, either here or abroad.

I'd read in a couple of maazines that there were 30 Megamoto's coming into the country, but have never seen an official confirmed figure.

How many HP2 Enduros?

I heard it was more like two and a half to three thousand (ADVrider site) but then again i've heard 625 aswell, I'm sure my frame number is around the 1600 mark.

It doesn't really matter though as there's nowt else like it despite it's faults and foibles. Its a keeper for me....!:thumb2

When I took mine to my local BM dealer for it's first service they hadn't even seen one before:eek:

Correct. Just saw a pdf on production numbers the other day. They made about 3,000.

I traded mine 12 months ago on an 08 adventure. BMW here could not sell the bike so they sent the bike with another HP2 they had a couple of months ago to Australia where there is a small market for HP2's. The HP2 was 30% over priced when new. I enjoyed the 18 months I had the HP2 but was glad I traded it when I did as I got a trade in price.

I'm gonna go check the number on mine... I'm assuming that I should be looking on the headstock?

Frame number.....!

It's the big long number in the middle of the headstock plate, the actual bike number should start ZL.... i think!:thumb
