Possibly the wrong forum for this but here goes.
Bought this from here many years ago to fit my R80GS. It was a year after it arrived before I could get around to it. (Long story)
Needless to say, I couldn’t see any way to fit it and it went into the attic to join all the other waifs and strays.
Anyway, having a clear out and here it is again. Be good if I could identify and move it on to someone who could use it.
Cheers all.

Looks like fork leg cover and disc cover to me............

Didn't find which bike its for, but pretty sure its called an UFO disc and fork cover, due to shape of them, used on many off road trail, motocross bikes.
Many still being sold on ebay today.

I'd have said DR650.
Na,it’s got cutouts for the reflectorsimage.jpg

its not ufo,as it’s been moulded in fibreglass from the look of it.
If it was UFO it would be plastic

Yes the ones I have seen are in plastic, I did look at many Bmw's oldies pictures, however your bike disc and caliper image Mickeyboy, appears to match the mould correctly.

If so, that immediately increases its' desirability - add a 50% g/s scene tax to the sale price...

Thanks for all your help everybody,
I’ve dug out the box it came in and found this poly bag contains three colour matched zip ties and a little L shaped bracket and screw. One side of the bag seems to confirm it’s fibreglass. Had a look on their site but seems to be a manufacturer of lots of fibreglass fittings. Never heard of the other name.
