Anybody ordered a 90th Anniversary GSA

Just picked mine up from Vines. Snowing on route.
Eased off for the trip home. Only drama was my fairly old bmw Santiago boots decided to become sponge like , = wet/cold feet. Nice.

After testing the new GS LC (flying machine) for 48hrs and 400miles! I decided to change my 2010 GSA 30th anv model for yet another GSA this time the said 90th edition.

With both packs and led fogs! (them feckin Austrian gestapo ) at Landeck ain't having me with HIDS again! 200-euros!

My 2010 GSA has covered 31,500 (all with a smile) miles in that time it has been fully dealer serviced and looked after, having had a warranty rear shock, warranty exhaust valve do da x 2, riders seat .. Then after purchasing ext warranty from BMW last september it had speed sensors which was not covered on ext warranty! and This week its confirmed that the Front ESA shocker is Kaput! again not covered on extended warranty because suspension is only covered up to 30k miles:-(

Dealer did manage to get a good will off BMW and would have done it FOC had I kept the bike....

So hope I like my now 4th GSA... and I can settle back and await the coming of the all new GSA next year ? I suppose ?

Two new Steeds

Well after a long hard month of testing new bikes including the flying machine the LC GS a pal and I decided to yet agin go for another GSA R1200
the LC fast that it is looses a lot of the character for me... and is stabled with the Ducati Multi's and that greed... it's going to be very interesting to see what BMW do with the new GSA and RT next year....

So that decided my 4th GSA and Mick's 2nd we decided to trade in out 2010 30K miles GSA R12 30th anniversary models for My GSA 90 and Mick's GSA triple black the deal was cut and done at Allen Jefferies and they were very good so far!

Full autocom system fits neatly in the tool tray ....well its a BMW you don't need tools do ya?

This is my Intaride 803 PMR it don't look so good cos its in a full waterproof bag but it worked well there on last steed for 2 years!

Twist your head a little and you will see a nice stainless steel bracket with a Rubber Johnny switch for my Autocom Push to Talk.

LOL this is the front suspension which is where it all started I went into my local dealer with my last steed which was 2010 on extended warranty and was told that my extended warranty did not cover as 30k was max milage for suspension units, unable and not offering any help. I then went to another dealer and decided to buy a new steed, as it turned out they got full warranty on suspension courtesy of BMW.
So moral of story went for a fix ended up with a new bike and start again 2 year warranty!

was looking at these powder coated but i did them on my white 2007 GSA and if you do a Commando Roll etc they tend to scratch bad and looked

Only done 141 miles at first they felt strange but are very comfy you can have them set low or high but even on the high set up they feel lower than stock spike GSA pegs! Maybe it's me? Need to get a few more miles on.One thing I can tell you for sure stood up they are amazing!
