Anybody tried a Hammerrite metal master electrostatic

I saw this on the gadget show tonight. Looks perfect for spraying bike frames and parts. £40 for the electrostatic gun and £12 for enough paint to spray a whole bike frame and parts. If it's any good it could save a fortune on restorations.

Anybody tried one yet?

How does that work then if, for instance, I was repainting some railings. Wouldn't they need to be bare metal for it to work

Sounds very good, but I've got one concern.

In the past I've tried to Hammerrite an alternator cover of an 1100GS and a pair of H/B crashbars from a 12GS after a slight spill.

On both occasions the Hammerrite was not compatible with the (water based???) paint on the BM originals and the paint bubbled within seconds.

Needs someone to be brave enough to test it first!

I saw one 'tested' on telly.. I think something like The Gadget Show, and they didn't rate it at all.. said a brush would be better.
