i live 6 miles from the start point and would like to meet up for a coffee,might even have a spare bed floor space or camping spot if anyone wanted

Great rally, btw, great roads and company, loads of photo rally points near the route, and the sun shone most of the time

1,162 kms, door to door, for me.

i got tied up badly with work,did not get out till near 8 and the same saturday till half 9
if ya want time off on bank holidays dont work for your self
i send aidan a text telling him i could not make it and to tell you and gerry as i am on my third phone in as many months and lost gerrys number again

So you did Frank, but I forgot to tell the lads.

My mate Gary put £20 of diesel in his T3 Cali in Newry then broke a throttle cable near Mullingar so I had to do a makeshift repair at the side of the road. What with all of that your text slipped my mind entirely.

Was wondering what happened Frank (& the cup o tae) but not for long as the route was enjoyable (except for the urban Belfast bit), the weather good & the craic grand entirely.

funny you should post that route,my self and 2 "friends" were talking about doing that route the first weekend of september.

ps i will get 2 cups of tea for everyone to make up for not making the meeting point the next time we meet
