Anyone fitted 1150gsa adventure top case to 1100gs or std 1150

Has anyone fitted a adventure top case to a 1100gs or standard 1150gs. I'm sure I have seen/ heard that the top case rack bolts straight on, anybody seen or done this?
The reason I'd like to do this is I have adventure panniers fitted and if the top case holder bolts on I can use a pannier as a top case if I don't need to carry too much.

I might be wrong but to mount the bmw top case with the bmw rack you need the rear rack with the single seat arrangement. I don't think it will just fit onto the rear rack of the split seat set up. I switched my 1150 over to this arrangement mostly so I could have the bmw top box as you describe...

Any help?

Fairly certain I have seen the GSA box fitted with the GS twin seat, sits further back so perhaps not ideal if you want to load it up but I believe it can be made to fit.
Just need to find some pictures now!

Just done a quick search and indeed it has been done several time before, apparently a bit of simple fabrication and it works just fine.

Hi guys, I have this setup on mine done by the previous owner. You have to take the hoop off the standard carrier and make a flat plate with two holes (unless there is a proper one) and it all goes on. The only problem with mine is the box is not too secure but I think that is due to a bit of wear in the rubber bushes. Both seats still in place.
