I suspect that much depends on the design of your headlamp reflector.
Ive used this company for many years for H4 LED bulbs for both car and various motorcycles..
In fact I have just fitted a pair of the H7's to my 2016 R1200R.. Massive improvement and excellent low beam cut off !
on the H4 variant, NO FANS or HEATSINK fins to impede fitment!! (And MOT compliant)
