Just got one of the twin bottle holders for a trip to the Picos, going to be camping partly so want to carry cooker fuel bottles on the panniers.

Anyone fitted one of these? If so does the pannier leak afterwards?

mine hasn't leaked. it does come with rubber washers IIRC but the bathroom sealant would remove all doubt

tap washers

I use 1/2" basin tap washers between pannier and bracket. Does the job!

The washers are after all designed to stop water:augie can't see the need for sealant tbh. Never leaked so far.

Ooooh get her with her swimming pool sealent :D

I hadn't got any kharzi sealant. Same as I haven't got a swimming pool, I bought the sealant first, saving up for the pool:aidan

Was hoping you were going to say Varios - I'd like to do similar with mine but not sure It'd be a good idea :(

Andres

You can fit them, they'll go on just the same as on any other panniers.

Once done you'll then find that you can no longer expand or contract the vario though :( :D:D
