Unfortunately not me but is anyone picking up a new bike on 1st March. Weather looks good for it.

No, it will be a mad house at A&D tomorrow. They had loads of bikes already PDIed when I signed up for the V85 and not many reg numbers left on the list for me to choose from. I decided to go on Thursday to collect mine as have a few things on earlier in the week.

More to the point reference 1st March, the Power Rangers will all be out! missed you guys this winter, not! LOL

TD.

Noticed a 25 reg van this morning. Driven before registration?

I do not miss that aspect of early Spring in the UK....seeing a group of bikes lights in my mirror....waiting with baited breath for the 1st and 2nd to pass me relatively safely....no 3 less so, no 4 a bit dodgy....surely no 5 isn't going to try and overtake as well?.....oh shit, he is...that was close..... They firmly think their riding is as good as when they parked the bike up 6 mths earlier....bit it really isn't.

perhaps having a pdi and had trade plates, but not properly fitted?

I rarely attached them properly if moving a van from the storage compound to workshop, about half a mile apart

Luckily the vanity of a 01 March plate means fuck all here
Its quite normal for someone who has purchased a new bike for today to be excited.
The fact you felt the need to post this on this forum suggests it does indeed mean much to you. That's called envy. Which, can be very ugly, especially from an older middle aged man.

It mean zero over here as we don’t have letters that change on 01 March,so it’s not envy.
I’ve already bought one new bike with another on the way .
Envy ? Certainly not in your direction having seen that ridiculous photo of your mobile Xmas tree.
The world has gone bloody mad.🤡

Quite why you would expect anyone to be jealous of someone getting a new '25 plate bike is lost on me. I think many of the middle aged and older folk on here are reasonably well off and could afford one if they were so inclined.

is amusing.

A&D probably had 100-120 folk outside when I arrived at 11 am. The shop was quiet with Paul and Sally sorting out customers, maybe four of five folk browsing. Everyone else was outside having a natter and availing themselves of the free teas and coffees from Sams cafe👍
