Anyone going to the Touratech Travel Event 2014?

Hi All

Having failed to make the Devon event (sorry Madmountainman) I am going to go to the Touratech Travel Event 2014 next weekend (3-5 May 2014). I'll be travelling up mid-afternoon on Friday 2 May, camping over somewhere on Fri and then at the event on Saturday. Then on Sunday, subject to hangover, Ill be heading west to Broadhaven in Pembrokeshire, to spend the night with my missus and travelling back solo via the mountains on Monday morning.

Happy if any South West Tossers want to tag along for some of my ride.

Pop up to The Ancient Briton about 5 miles away as The Taffy Dakar is on that weekend.

Cheers Jasext I might just do that, The Ancient Briton looks pretty good. I'd forgotten the Taffy Dakar was the same weekend - bit too hardcore for me just yet though!

The TD is NOT hardcore, it is more of a fun event . You choose the route you take so could do it all on the road if you wanted, or just take in some very easy trails.
We have quite a few doing it on road bikes .
It's not to late to enter as plenty of single entrants have booked and will make a team up.
