I suppose I should really put this on the BMW Club website . . but no-one would see it :augie

We had a very good turnout - possibly 15 people, though I didn't do a head count.

Katie's Tearoom is a nice, friendly venue which I think will be popular.

Here are a few pics. I saw other cameras in use so maybe there will be others added later.

The sign says it all - a useful 'waypoint' for those using the A9.

Those that arrived by car could be found in 'the snug' !

Arcboutant was there - but had left by the time I ventured out with the camera.

Somehow, Dick Boyd has managed to be in most of the photos. I suppose thats what being Scottish Section Chairman does for you :D

Until next month then.

Bob.

Don't know Chris Wilson but I like his R 100 GS :thumb

That R65 is it an LS? Havn't seen one of those in a while.

Didn't know you had an Adventure as well as all those other mounts you mentioned on Skye Bob  (note to self ... hearing aid possibly required :D)

I'm not sure about the R65 - I didn't see it parked, only as it left the car park. I have other photos of it somewhere, I'll have a look for them.

Chris is a near neighbour of mine in Kirkliston. He bought that 100GS earlier this year (April time if I recall correctly), its a 'K Reg' model.

I was on that GSA in Skye :augie But it was at the campsite so you probably didn't see it.

I bought it on 30th June and have added just under 11,000 miles since then; great bike.

I sold my R80RT a couple of weeks ago. I had only covered 900 miles on it this year so there was no point in keeping it. A friend bought it so its still about.

I still have the K1200GT and R100GS to keep the 1150GSA company.

Bob.

I think Mr Voyager.

looking closely Bill Downies dad can be seen in the background in a couple of your photies. Good selection, shame a YELLOW GS wisnae there to show the rest up :augie:thumb2

n.b. first to leave BUT first to pay bill too :P
