Anyone got a bust F800GS ignition switch, they dont want?

The electricy switch bit Im after, not the key/lock bit.

Asked my local dealer, they went all glassy eyed and could not compute such a request!! The said warrenty returns No!

Mmm. Madame has had 4 fail on her 800. Last one was packed with grease by the dealer too.

I was told that it was unusual for them to fail!

Which is why they knew what the fault was over the phone and had several switches 'on the shelf'! Mines now repaired with extra grease, dont trust it though!

If I can get a knackered one I want to use the conector part and make a road side work around, or if I could find a suitable conector to plug into the loom that would do!

The tricky bit is taking it all apart due to the 'five lobe' torx security screws!
These torx 'bits' are not easy to find! (Amazon, cough! )
