for City Navigator Europe 2009 that they can spare??

Not the NT version - it's for a Quest 1. I ordered one from Garmin weeks ago and it hasn't arrived, and I'm off on a trip in the next couple of weeks.

Any help/suggestions gratefully received!

Can you download (the CN 2009 update from the Garmin site? Assuming you haven't paid for the unlock code for the update disc.

No, at least I don't think so... the Garmin site isn't the easiest to understand.

You can only order an update disc, which I've already done. If I've got it right, you don't pay for the disc, you pay to register (unlock) it after you've copied it to the satnav.

Now someone will come along and tell me I've got it all wrong.
