Evening,
I was reversing the mighty 1100GS out through the door of my man cave and I clipped the door frame with the end of the rear, o/side passenger foot rest. It snapped the casting that holds the peg. What a bar steward.
Does anyone have one they would sell me, inc. postage. P.M me if you have.
Cheers. Rob.

Cheers W.Loo,
Me being a tight get, I was trying for an even cheaper option. That's my next port of call. £15 sounds OK. I reckon the casting is made of Dinky toy monkey metal, that's why it broke so easy !
Rob.

If you can get one for £15 that's a bargain. Otherwise you might be able to get it welded up by a specialist ali welder. About ten years ago I cartwheeled my old CB500 and snapped the footrest hanger. Got it welded back up by a biker-friendly ali welder for a tenner. It's still good now.

Hi JF
Just ordered one from Motorworks, £60 used. They are £120ish new.
I didn't think this type of ali could be welded. Thanks for the heads up though. Anyone want a broken one to repair, £55.99 inc. p&p. lol.:D

Bugger, just bought one. Must learn patients (patience) !

Thanks Colt, but sorted now.

Feck me. Looked up my original receipt. £15 plus VAT. OK it was 2009 but that's some rate of inflation. Makes my bike worth about 8 grand :)
