On a GS they come with front indicators in the hand guards

If you select the trophy model or a GS with the enduro pack (engine guards, folding / adjusting rear brake and gear lever ends etc.) you get real front indicators mounted where they were on older bikes - does anyone with this configuration still have the blind spot assist left in their mirrors (with the full driving assistant option) ?

the configurator allows this selection - but now they are building the bikes without blind spot assist ? dropping for the full assistant package at £750 - to the lesser active cruise ACC at £500

I got my 1300gs 2 weeks ago. It has the Enduro pack and retains the blind spot and riding assist options.

You need to get the ACC if you want blind spot - as needs the radars fitted. My bike has Enduro but no blindspot as no ACC was specced - shame but in other ways not missing it!

thanks for the reply - AndyT70 says what I was hoping

I have a trophy with enduro spec and acc - blind spot works in the mirrors. One watch out are the shorter levers. The biting point is weirdly late and the demo with standard levers felt better at slow manoeuvring.

thanks for confirmation

do your enduro ones still have the adjusting bit for span adjustment ?

hey they just updated real OEM

Adjustment is there and set but the combination of short lever and late biting point isn’t great regardless of how it’s adjusted.

Hi all, just following up on this query as I am about to order a 1300gs trophy with Enduro Package Pro, are people with new bikes during the last 6 months still getting the blind spot/lane departure warning working and installed OK?

It looks like ACC Active Cruise Control is part of the Riding Assistant option. Not sure if thats always been the case as only just started looking.

Also, has anyone with Enduro Package Pro had handguard indicators installed?

Thanks in advance.

Is that a typo….

Dont think so... here is the blurb from BMW site;

Riding Assistant £ 795.00

The Riding Assistant improves safety in various riding situations with radar-based functions. Active Cruise Control with braking function provides you with more comfort on longer journeys. Forward Collision Warning alerts you to obstacles and assists the braking process. Lane Change Warning monitors adjacent lanes and helps you change lane more safely.
Product details
  • Radar-based systems for more safety in different situations
  • Comfortable Active Cruise Control
  • Obstacle warnings
  • Improved safety when changing lane

Do you have Enduro Pro pack Joe?

I’d read that on the Motorrad site but it’s a bit misleading TBH.
Lane Change Warning (on some marques) uses forward-facing cameras to determine when your vehicle is drifting across a white line; it’s a bit pedantic but just be sure of its functions and limitations 👍
The bike version uses rear radar to alert when a vehicle is coming up alongside you (perhaps in your blind spot) and flashes a warning in the respective mirror.
Like all safety features it’s effective but I wouldn’t forget the over-the-shoulder look.

Not per se.
But the machine has over £4k of options and ACC is included in one of the packs (it might have been Rider Assist) which you mention in your post. 👍
The Enduro pack a can’t be specced with the 719 option 👍

Yes "Lane Departure Warning" is the correct term for the forward facing camera detecting the road lines ahead. Not a technology used on the GS, or any motorcycle I know of. What the GS has is properly called "Blind spot Detection". BMW using the non-standard term "Lane Change Warning" is confusing for everyone.

Agreed, its an extra bonus as well as the shoulder check which is mandatory.
Ah yes , the 719 is a nice option , I felt it was 'too nice' for some offroad use sadly (for me!)!

I think they've taken these terms for the BMW cars, into the bike world...

I picked mine (trophy with Enduro, comfort, ACC etc) at the beginning of November. It's a 2026-spec, I think (narrow nav cradle etc). It has the blind spot lights in the mirrors.

if you pick the option of ACC and all the bling you do get a

Active Cruise Control with braking function provides you with more comfort on longer journeys.
Forward Collision Warning alerts you to obstacles and assists the braking process. using front radar
Lane Change Warning monitors adjacent lanes and helps you change lane more safely. using rear radar - aka Blind spot assist

now a separate option
Rear collision warning £ 50.00 The rear collision warning can use the hazard warning lights to warn vehicles behind of an impending collision, for example if there is a need for sudden braking.

Sounds perfect!! I ordered Trophy with Enduro pack and Forged wheels on Friday. I got a call today telling me BMW aren't making any more Trophy's (the current blue/white Trophy colour) so I cant have it! Hoping my dealer can figure something out as I am gutted :confused2:! Ah, has the Nav cradle been modified too? 🤔
