My advice, never ever use Adrian flux or any of their sub companies.
1. Had a camper with them. Ins was due but we were selling it, i explained this and asked for the early cancellation policy. Was told the policy could be kept open once sold the camper and then put on to its replacement once purchased. No problem at all they said.
Sold the camper, they cancelled the policy with zero refund and said as could not tell them of the replacement same day it could not be held open after all.
Said i'd never use again.
A while afterwards i renewed bike ins not knowing these people were actually Adrian flux.
At the time we owned two houses, i had made it very very clear which was our new home and that was the address the bike would be kept.
A month later i notice an extra £50 had been taken from my bank account.
It was them.
So i ring and (after a lot of trouble getting thru) ask what is going on.
We think you MAY be lying about which property you are storing the bike, so have added £50 to the policy cost just in case.
So i say, come round anytime and check, now return the money please.
The guy says, if you make a fuss i will report you to DVLA for having the wrong address on your licence and get you a £1000 fine.
So i ring DVLA and check, yes my licence update had only just been processed but regardless, the only rule is you need to be contactable at the address by post so can use whichever you want.
So i check a number of review sites, turns out they were using the same threat to many people for all sorts of suspect reasons for extra money.
So i wrote to them officially, each time they tried to fob me off i added more emails in.
Ombudsman, FCA, Newpapers, MPs until there were about 30 on there.
Once they realised they quickly refunded and offered compensation.
Make of that what you will
