Anyone have BMW tankbag for the R1200GS?

if so..... anyone have the GPS as well
can you even SEE IT behind that tankbag?

hi Greg,

I`ve got the BM tankbag & GPS although my GPS is mounted in a RAM mount above the instruments. There`s no problem seeing over the bag it just depends on where you put your GPS to see it!

It is a large bag but, very good quality and extremely waterproof. I have the Motorad Concepts GPS mount and can easily see the unit with the tank bag in place.

Me too. I have the BMW Tank Bag and GPS mounted on a RAM mount.

I bought the BMW bag, despite it being more expensive, because if fits, it doesnt cause the panels to pop off which I understands others do and most importantly it is weatherproof.

BMW Tankbag

It is much better than the 1150GS bag and carries much more. However mine has always been difficult to detach and re-attach - i.e; when filling the tank. My method now is to undo the zip, remove the bag, then to reinstall, zip it on THEN push down the hook on the front - I just happen to carry a 20cm long piece of wood for this purpose ! Works well but surely there is a better way ? Brian
