Just seen this Ski-Doo helmet and was wondering if anyone out there had used one or had any info.

Cheers

That's the Merkin snowmobile version of the Lazer Revolution.

Highly recommended, especially if you ride all year in all weather, as (previously stated) the clear visor is double glazed,so even if you don`t use the supplied fighter pilot style facemask,it won`t mist up,no matter how cold the air is outside. When needed, just slide the tinted inner visor down....this can mist however,so just slide it up for a moment.
The seat belt style buckle can work loose,so always check it on fastening.
The liner just pulls out,so you can lob it in the washing machine, and it dries quickly.
The helmet is fairly quiet too.
Downers ? It`s physically larger than most other helmets due to the double glazed visor section, and it is a little bit weighty, but overall I`m well pleased with mine, and as a shift worker,it`s been a godsend through the winter.

I have my second now. Fine helmet, especially with the face mask to prevent fogging of the screen.

But, it's rather loud above 60 mph. I always use earplugs.

This was my first one after I hit the asphalt with it:

only downer with mine is the sun visor gets boggin through the slot in the top...agree they are bit noisey....me and mate bought them at same time and got the pair for £280 thats in ballymena hey

cheers

The link above has them for £50 off but without the face mask... is it worth getting without it?

I ride everyday, all year round and normally use a buff/balaclava so would I need it?

Once you`re over the novelty factor, you wouldn`t use the mask anyway, especially when you`ve been asked a dozen times a day why you`ve got a strange red line around your face....

The visor still won`t mist up without it anyway.

I'm on my third Revolution, and I just threw the jetmask away as soon as I opened the box.

Remember to use the blanking plugs in the side vents though.....
