Anyone ID this Combo?

Howdy,

My neighbour at the back showed me this photo of his wife's Dad and Grandad on a combo, not sure where or when it was taken. One place could be the Glendalough Royal Hotel which was a favourite spot for them. He would love to know what bike it is. I have had a suggestion it is a Sunbeam.

Any ideas?

For interest, I have added anohter snap Theo sent me, himself at Bohernabreena in 1951. Hardy man!

Two wild guesses here Bin.........................

1920 3 1/2 HP Sunbeam.....

and.....................

a 1947 B31.................................MAYBE...........

Stand to be corrected of course , but the carbide lamp, the levers, the hand change on the right of the tank,the bulb horn, and the handlebar mounted disc holder (??) sort of dates it, the shape of the tank is right too.
If it's not 1920 it's early to mid twenties..............
