Anyone in Aberdeen City or Shire?

Hi, I have not had a GS for over a year now, but yesterday got a 1200 Adventure.

Just wondering how many people on the site are living in Aberdeen, the City or the Shire

Are there any runs/meet ups planned?

Who is the best for servicing the GS?

Half a dozen Tossers scattered over the County.
I use John Clark's in Aberdeen. They don't sell bikes but still do servicing and their mechanic is top notch.

Here in Aberdeen too. Westhill park and ride , Wed evenings at 7, come along.

In Kintore. Gs-less at the moment but should be changing soon. Heard Alba Moto on South College St are very good and recently did a clutch on a 1200 with no bother.

Yes, I am also in Aberdoom.

As regards servicing (warranty dependant), Stuart at Ecosse (used to be McGowans) is BMW trained and is very good, although the same cannot be said for the 2 Eastern European monkeys who also work there....

I had my GSA into John Clark last week for the 18k service and the Mamola into Ecosse for the 24k. Both equally as good except Ecosse were a hell of a lot cheaper despite it being a big service.

I'm in Banchory. Craig replaced the heads on my 2010 anniversary GS last week, but I'm still have an unrelated (?) problem with cold idle (possibly defective lambda sensors). I will call them today.

Craig's always been really good, helpful. But his father works alongside my wife at the Gordon Highlanders Museum. I can see where he gets his sense of humour.

I'm between Stonehaven and Aberdeen. I've know Craig for over twenty years and he has never done me wrong yet, even when he worked at Shirlaws.

Stay in the Deen well Dyce during the week and Inverness at weekends. So is the lad Craig still at BMW in Aberdeen saw on another post someone asking about him??
