riding from calais to the south of france using toll roads,also riding from the north of italy down to sicily using toll roads [do you pay in italy].trying to plan a little bimble,and cost it. all info greatfully received. j

If you use www.viamichelin.com it calculates the route and shows you the toll fees:

For France I assumed Menton as a destination (by the Italian border) and it reckons 58 Euro of tolls.

I found it cheaper to take the ferry to Santander, and cross the border into France.

But the weather was mega shitty; rain/hail/snow. I could have avoided that with the ride through France. Live and learn.
