Anyone know what this is?

This was on my GS before I stripped it. It's a small block, plastic, with a couple of holes in it, can be seen here below the rear footrest. I have not refitted it as I could not work out what it does, any ideas?

Its an anti vibration plate, it stops all the vibes from the bike going to the footrest....nah not really
