I ordered my GS LC after test riding one which suited me better than the previous GSs. Anyone else with the new LC or one on order which is their first GS?
I've had numerous Jap/Italian bikes and never gelled with the previous GSs.
I'm sure BMW would dearly love it to also appeal to riders currently of non BMW bikes. It appeals to me for one!

Actually, my story is kind of funny. Always had superbikes until 2008. Then trade a aprilia rsv2 factory (that actually win the masterbike test in 2006) for a GSA my2008. In 2010 my wife told me she was pregnant and will not ride with me anymore, so a bought a aprilia rsv4 factory. When my doughter born, I decide to stop my hooliganism drivin and bought 30years GSA (2010). Then I got bored because didn't bike trip to much and in 2012 bought Aprilia TuonoV4 (for me one of the best bikes ever driven). Today, a pick up a white wc r1200gs. I think I will stay quiete for a while, now!

Yes, traded in my R Reg Triumph T595 to buy my first GS. Only went down to the BMW dealer for a test ride, and had parted with my deposit before I even got to sit on the bike. It just stacks up.

And I have no qualms about the head-shake nonsense, I once owned a Suzuki TL1000s which had the same rep. If BMW really have a problem they will fix it long before I discover it.

Yup

Traded a Tiger 800, but I've had seven BMW's before and six Hinckley Triumphs

So it's BMW 8 : Hinckley 6

The Game goes in to extra time with zee germans winning.
