Anyone own a 1200c ?

just did a bit of work on one and had a ride afterwards.

lovely bike to ride - I would love to take it away for a big trip !

am after panniers and screen if any around (some leather covered panniers on e bay but really want cream colour or ones we can paint)

Ive got one, and I agree, great bike to ride (If I could fit the 12C engine to the 1150GS I would)

Cant help you on the bits and bobs. If your looking to paint the paniers, BMW did some 37L plastic ones (waterproof) which may be better for painting (Ive got a set - Great for touring)

Check ebay (either UK or Germany) for items.

Another place you may want to subscribe to is chromeheads.org - although its mostly a US site...some people from the UK subscribe to it as well..

Sorry to be stupid, but I would have thought a 1200C motor would fit onto an 1150 box, what is different?

problem is more likely to be finding one I guess !

I did buy a low mileage bottom end off e bay a few years ago, never had need for it so sold it to a guy off this site who needed a crank.

turned out to be a 1200 so was no use - sorted him out in the end with another spare I had
