Anyone planing to take the ferry to spain On 2nd September?

Im heading to Spain on Sunday 2nd September and returning Saturday 8th

Just wondered if any body wanted to share a cabin :nenau

Not fussed if its Portsmouth or Plymouth, Santander or Bilbao although i

can't budge on the dates much

Or if your already booked lets us know and we can have a :beerjug:

Have you already booked your trip? If not have you checked availability? Me & a mate wanted to go to Spain on the ferry on our bikes on 2nd September & when we tried to book last November we were told there were no spaces left for motorbikes on that date. I tried again in March & a 3rd time last month & was given the same response each time - 'Fully booked for bikes'.
 
Agree with above post,

I booked a trip before christmas and was told there were no outside cabins left then.

As a note there is also a "Ride Magazine" week away in Spain advertised and thats the sailing date so assume they made a block booking on the ferry too.

Its gonna be busy!!:beerjug:

Brittany Ferries dont sem to have the same capacity for bikes that P&O used to. I managed to book back in November for a trip in Sept, though could only get the trip down and had to do a return through Caen. ( I have now managed to book the retur on the dates I wanted due to a cancellation)

I'm booked on for Portmouth Bilbao, out on the 5th August and back on the 5th of September via Santander. I had the same problem with a cabin, all the 2 berth cheapies were all gone. But if you book it over the phone you can get a shared berth, you cant book it online, which makes it more affordable,

And obviosly you don;t know who you will end up shareing with, but looking at your avatar you may end up with a full cabin to yourself anyway
 
Thanks for the above advice gave them a call and bobs your uncle got a shared cabin. Heading out Sunday 2nd Plymouth - Santander back Saturday 8th Bilbao - Portsmouth.

Just hope I can regain my self confidence after the insults, think I might go to the Cotswold bash on route and try my hand at this sarcasm/insult malarky.

I've just booked for two of us,one bike. Heading out for the Moto Piston Rally, 30th Sept out, 8th Oct back. No problem!

looking forward to it,just trying to workout how I am going to get camping gear, fishing gear, camera gear AND clothes on the bike. Maybe the camping gear will have to go.:aidan
