Anyone ridden the new 2013 1200 GS LC in the rain yet?

Hi guys I contacted the makers of the mudsling yesterday and this was the reply I got

Steve:

We will be developing a whole line of items for the water cooled GS, but we're still waiting for delivery of our bike. It is due in early April. It will take 3~ 4 months for production of the first few items. Thanks for the inquiry - we'll be in touch.

It makes you think that the smaller companies that don't have the pull of touratwat and the like get thrown scraps,

Not ridden in the rain yet but have cleaned it, just a quicky to get the dry salt powder off it as there was a lot coating the road.

First cleaning impressions are that it is dead easy to get to all the nooks and crannies, except it is hard to get behind the lower inner perspex screen thingy to dry it, but it should be easily removed with two screws if one considers this essential :D

Oh and the old air-cooled owners will be please to here that water still collects in some of the fins but is much easier to remove now :D
