Anyone test-ridden the new 1250 GS yet ?

Warlord a little bit more or less fuel can never make up for 2 different cam lobes one optimized for torque / the other for power , 2 mm more bore and 3 mm more stroke...don't kid yourself ! Where the old bike lacks nid-range and feels flat the new one will go even if only 11 hp more will make maybe 5 mph difference or less in top-speed,you will get there much faster !

Warlord...Same here in Cali...absolute sh*t pot-holed roads...way worse than mexico...On top of that LEO's everywhere enforcing ridiculously low speed limits...land of the free...;)

The new 1250 has loads more bottom end and mid range which makes it a lot faster when driving 90% of the time. When you do rev it harder above 6k it has a good bit more top end which is nice for the other 10% of the riding.
Take a demo out you will feel this straight away. Another plus point is the brakes which have more bite and feel better overall and the Engine is smoother and a lot quieter. The new Bridgestones are miles better than the A3's
So in summary it's faster, stops better, quieter and smoother. My 2018 Rallye TE has now been traded for a Rallye HP TE with factory fit Akropovic :beerjug:

You lot are truly deluded :D

If you raced a 1200 and a 1250 over a quarter mile at Santa Pod, you'd be lucky to get half a second difference.

Even a full one second over quarter mile, up into 3 figures is like two snaps of your fingers apart.

It'll make NO DIFFERENCE in real life road riding.

Yep, order placed

:D
