Anyone tried the new BT-023 on their 1150 GSA Yet?

Being a Battlewing 501/502 fan but not managing to get them to last more that 4500 miles on the rear I wondered if anyone had tried the new(ish) Battlax BT-023 yet on their 1150 GSA?

the type of GS matters not a jot.

I have an 021 rear.. turned 7,000 miles on it now... and will be replacing it in the next month or so with an 023, which is from all I've read that much tougher.

btw.. if mileage from the tyres is your main requirement then you should have Tourances.... which can easily last up to 12,000 miles.

The BT020 on the bike of mine is well over half way FCUKd at 2000 miles, it's the roads round here ...

I didn't get much from an 020 rear either.. the 021 was a real step change. Mileage isn't such an issue for me.. i like the way the bike performs with sport touring tyres and so the sacrifice isn't an important one.

But, if I were planning a longer trip abroad than is usual for me then I would happily change for tourances too.

I like the way the bike feels on the BT501 / 502s but will look at the Tourances - thanks

been much discussed on this and other sites chap. The consensus is NO, the EXP variant has less tread, so less miles.

They do a rear EXP M that lasts longer than the standard EXP im on 4000 from the rear M thats just over half worn.

I'll be putting BT23s on my GS before new year; they are very impressive on my g/f's CBR600, and I want that quick warm-up and wet weather grip for winter.

The existing Tourances are fairly squared off and they seem to take ages to get warm or have any feel.

YMMV though, and I'm coming off sports-tourers, so I might be a bit more sensitive to tyre types.
