Anyone tried the Satmap Active 10 GPS

Anyone have any experience with the Satmap Active 10 GPS unit? looks like a great piece of kit to assist with off-roading, comments appreciated

Bit late reply but yes i have one. You will never look at another sat system again i have used many systems and this one is leagues above the rest. BUT ONLY for what it was designed for, as an on-road navigator its pretty crap. But off road nothing can touch beautifully scrolling Ordnance survey maps is a joy to watch. The unit is weather proof and can take plenty of knocks. But it is not perfect the battery life is short, but i would advise buying the power pack and that is sorted. The screen covers are replaceable but sometimes water gets between the covers and screen and this has to be removed or you get water stains. Now the online route software is working its pretty awesome piece of equipment.
