I purchased a Scala unit and found the speakers not up for the job, i upgrade them to autocom and the sound was better but lets be really honest, its not a great unit, stay clear and go get an autocom. Yes it has wires but no need to charge no charger to carry no worries if you cant find the time to charge the unit, the sound is crap even with the upgrade to the speakers the output is not enough.
Bluetooth is the way forward but power and charging along with speakers are not anywhere as near as good as the autocom. If you havw one sell it and buy a proper intercom IMHO even if autocoms need a wee bit of setting up i like them much more. If you get the Scala with the FM radio its even more rubbish then wind noise. IMHO lol just wanted to add a bit of honesty to the proceedings
