anyone used one of these instead of a REAR mudsling

That's a more realistic price for a piece of moulded plastic than the price charged for the mudsling, is any distributor actually selling it for that much-do you have a link?
Too late in my case I bought the mudsling :blast

I have had one of them on my 09 for years. There was a group buy on here for them. No issues whatsoever and a far better price than the mudsling. I cant see the fit and finish being any different on the wc.

I also have one on my '10 GSA - good quality product at a sensible price (although I seem to recall having to buy from USA and pay import duty - but still much cheaper that Mudsling).

Hi where can you get them from I'll defiantly have one for mine at that price I haven't looked but is there any difference between a gsa rear end to gs..?

That's why we did the group buy here. We imported a load of them from the states and also got a bulk order discount at the same time.

Buy the OEM one or should I say pair.

£12 works perfectly well.

i got one for my 09 plate and it went onto both my TC's worked perfect.

Beware you also have to pay the duty when it arrives

Looks good any UK seller? as NN price f**ks you over for mudsling

The price for the GS LC is $149 which is not much under £100, against £134 from NN. When you take into account the US price doesn't include sales tax if you factor in 20% VAT then the US price wouldn't look much different than NN's. If you buy the avant front mudguard attachment from NN at the same time as the mudsling you get them both for £155, against the US price of $194 or £124. Add the VAT and it comes up to £149. There are other suppliers out there who really do gouge us on goods imported from the US.

62 dollars for the splashguard + 51 dollars for postage, presumably there will be import duty +VAT on that, not quite so attractive to buy individually.

I think it would be under the threshold for import duty but VAT would be charged on the whole price including the postage (if memory serves me correct) and Parcelfarce would then add their £13 handling fee. The price including postage is £72 so with VAT that would be £86.40. With the Parcelfarce charge you are up to £100.

Must be someone over here selling them? If not cant a dealer/trader on here / over here get some and sell them to us normo's...! Shit thing I was in the states two weeks ago and could have brought a load back :-( if id have got stopped and asked... all for you sir... yes sir.... im planning on covering my brand new shiny white Gsa te in them sir as the last page of my manual says I cant get my gigantican of a monster continent crosser wet dirty or mildly moist as it may void my warranty on corrosion:beer:...... sir

I brought a maier product from the states, when it landed i had to pay import tax and a post office handling fee of £12, worked out i was out of pocket.

Quality is as good as mudsling .
