I use my 2015 TE 3-4 days a week to ride into London and could do with some sort of luggage to take my laptop and sometimes spare clothes, jacket, maybe some groceries etc.

I park in a safe underground car park most of the time but I rarely leave bags or top boxes on my bikes ever since I had one ripped off the back of my RT with my helmet in it causing a lot of damage.

Rather than a permanent hard top box I wondered about the Wunderlich bag:

I wasn't sure how stable it would be if it only had a laptop in or, conversely, had heavier stuff packed to capacity?

I haven't got one but I have to say if I was in your situation that would seem to fit the bill. Waterproof, adjustable to load carried, easy to carry off the bike (I read it can be worn as a rucksack). Locking strap system to a seat pad. Would imagine perfectly stable.Yes I like that. Not sure how many groceries you would get in there.
There are others with bigger capacity out there should you require..e.g. see the Kriega US-30 DryBag at £95 on the link below....sportsbikeshop list a variety. Google is your friend!
