Anyone want a Cheap Route de Grand alps trip in 3 days time?

A back roads trip to the Alps (motorway for 1 hour out of Le Havre)

Well we've had someone bail for a trip leaving for an Alps trip on Thursday morning (hotel in Portsmouth Wednesday paid for too) so if anyone wants a cheap trip to the Alps let me know!

Staying in Portsmouth night of the 16th with Thursday Fast Cat to Le Havre & night in an F1 Orleans, Friday F1 Geneva (Annemasse) then 2 nights/3 days in the Alps arriving in Menton all in decent hotels.

Tuesday night in F1 Nimes, Wednesday in F1 Montlucon and Thursday in Louviers F1 then back on the Fast Cat.

Portsmouth Hotel is paid for as is the £150 fast cat (Vomit Comet), the 3 nights in the French Alps we have paid for but are looking to recover this and the F1's get paid for each night, so saving is about £220

When you say a saving of £220, what does that mean the cost will be?

Also, how many others going and what's the standard of riding/pace etc?

You will need to pay for the F1's and hotels in the Alps, the ferry £160 (or more now) and hotel in Portsmouth (£60) are covered as they cannot be refunded.

Cost of F1's is about £30 per night, Alps a bit more and then there is £30 average fuel per day and food/beer...

There are only 2 going at this point, Myself and another guy on a K1200.

Standard of riding is hard to judge honestly, but got all A's on the police riding day out

Pace is quick but we plan to enjoy the trip and 95% will be French back roads that (if you have not ridden them) make riding in the UK a pretty sorry experience, dropping down to Geneva to pick up the Alps roads and 3 days to enjoy the route, NOT blast down it 'on a mission'.

Neither of us are 'beer monsters' and frankly hungover is not the way to ride the Alps!
