Anyone want an Akra?

Oooooo....black akra.... V nice!!! When do you get it?!!
Well, the black Akra is going back, as it's actually brown, in the sunlight.
As were all the ones at Bahnstormer when I popped in there on Saturday.
I'm also concerned at the finish, as there were bubbles under the paint, and some fine scratches. That was how it arrived in the box, so goodness knows what it will look like after a few months.
Nope, I'll stick with the BMW sourced Akra, as it looks better, and will stand the test of time.
Apologies again, Simon, I'll be doing your refund later, and will add a couple of quid so you can have a drink for your inconvenience.

Would still like to see some pics if you took any... not seen it in black/brown.
I'm liking the Remus Hexacone Slip-On - polished stainless with carbon fibre tip... £486.40 nicer, sounds as good if not better and cheaper than the Akra IMO.

Its cheaper, its suits the lines of the bike better then the large akro, but it deffo don't sound better unless you like loud cans, even with the baffle in whilst touring it used to do my head in, its got a very agry bark when you give it the beans so much i preferred the akro regardless if it costs more it also resells for more so its horses for courses .

Yeah, horses for courses. I like the angry bark & rumble sound, plus it can scare away real barking dogs, better than a rabbies jab, LOL. Plus I wear ear plugs anyway so it's always subdued for me.
I didn't fit it, as I knew I'd be sending it back, and not bothering with a replacement.
I'm quite disappointed that Akrapovic have messed up on the quality and finish on the black silencer, as in the pictures, it looked very good.
