Out here in Kathmandu for next 5 months. Will be shipping my bike home but if anyone fancies riding it back.........

Let me know.

Seriously, if anyone has 2 months holiday anytime in the next 5-6months they are welcome to ride it back. It's a great trip and I can give lots of advice to smooth the way.

The bike is totally sound and has just been serviced. Has ABS,hotgrips, GSA 31ltr Tank, engine bars, full luggage/tankbag plus starcom1 intercom system.

Are you supplying air flight over and fuel & accomodation for the return?

If I could afford to do that I would be riding home myself!

I'd love to but my Garmn only goes as far east as Tel Aviv ....then the world ends after that.

Nice offer though .....when do you need to know by ? If I get made redundant or other such luck befalls me I'd be up for it :thumb

They're in the fuel tank - that's why I fitted a bigger one!

It's a fair point though I guess.

Gonna be here or India for 6 months so that's how long anyone has to decide. I don't need the bike here. It's way too big and uses too much fuel. You get just as much fresh air riding the bus - as you normally have to hang on the outside.

Ohh if only....... :( Where's the green with envy smiley?
Add me to that list. Nepal is one of the best places I've been to. Mind you things must be a wee bit dodgy out there just now. :( Keep yer heid down!

Yeah, bit dodgy here just now but nothing too worrying yet.

Ran into this American guy who's lived here 20yrs+. He has an R80GS, a 1946 Indian, a Thunderbird and 2 more classic BMWs. He's offered me the chance to ride 'em all and also to meet a whole bunch of other folk from the Himalayan Enfield club and another vintage bike club who go on rallies and take mind-altering substances.

Sounds interesting!!

I've e-mailed Tim and I'll PM Spyinthecamp too.

hmmmm.....
and also mmmMMMmMMMmmm! :)

am going to P.M you also.
