Anyone who has Michelin PR3's

I'm off to The Pico's next Saturday, I'll be there for 8 days, plus travel from Inverness to Portsmouth (return obviously about 1300 miles ).

My current PR's have done 1500 miles, we will be doing about 250 miles per day whilst in The Picos so holiday total approximately 3500 miles.

Will my tyres last that mileage 5000 ? I think they will but not had PR3's before.

I would think so. I get 6000 or so from them on my fairly weighty Super Tenere mostly 2-up. If they get a bit edgy you can always get them replaced fairly quickly on your travels.

No problem,I got close to 7000 on my 07 RT all solo riding.

I got 4000 out of the rear but they were fun miles!

As Matt says it is possible to buy tyres when you are in another country so see how they wear.

My zzr1400 has pilot road 3's on they've done 6,500 miles so far and stilll enough tread for another 1500,you will be fine
