anyone with a tape measure handy??

guys
i'm a looooong way from my bike right now and, for obvious reasons, never
encouraged the other half to become familiar with a tape measure - but i
want to know how wide a standard vario top box is - in inches. really i want
to know the width of the flat surface area (before the curved corners) on the
bottom third of the case. i want to stick something to it - and need to
know what area is available...??!!

15.5" x 11"

But not that simple because there is a sloping bit at the rear (number plate side) and there is also the lever which tales up room towards the top

The lever would restrict dimensions to 14"x 10.5" but is not a problem as long as yur item is below the lever... if that is possible


p.s. How is The Venetian because my brother is currently building a sister/brother casino elsewhere with 20,000 suites and an area equivalent to six football pitches of gaming areas ?

i'm design director for the venetian - but on everything east
of vegas (pennsylvania and europe currently) so am not involved
in china or singapore.....an amazing company. really.

I cannot tell you any more because I do not know what is public at this stage
What I can tell you is that I cannot believe the cost of the venture... or the size of the venture

its kinda tough to hide a $3billion dollar project from the the
public gaze......!
it opens later in the year.
