Anyone with Wire Wheels ?

I'm about to order a new 1200 and the dealer in Montreal tld. me that the wire wheels are an option.

Does anyone know how much these wheels are ? I can convert all currencies to Cdn. $$$ so if anyone has gotten a price or bought them pls. let me know.

I think its a £240 option in the UK, or thereabouts. I think that's about C$550.

Sounds about right, they look alot better than alloy! Are a little tricky to clean though..

They list for £245 here in the UK. Not sure how many people have them and what they actually paid. Comments from a 1200 owner?

Can't remember how much i paid for these for my 1200 as I bought them with the bike, but I chose them for there rugged looks, the fact I wanted to go off road with the bike at some point and didn't like the alloy ones...and what's another 200ish pounds when you've spent 9ish k arleady

So it all made sense.....
