Hey guys looking to fit an Aooci Apple play unit to my R1100GS. Has anyone done this? Anything in particular I need to be aware of before I commit? Cheers!

I have a C3 Pro on my 1150 and I am happy enough with it @punisher84 I find it easier to work with than my phone in a quadlock. I have since ordered a second one for my second bike.

Thanks Aiden! How have you wired this in to the bike? Have you Just used a switch live?

Have had a Chigee AIO5 and 2 Aoocci C6s.
Just fitted a C3 to my X-Adv and have simply used the USB lead that came with it to plug into a USB A and C socket I got which is linked to ignition .

Works a treat

Couldn’t be arsed to try remove bodywork like I did with the other bikes to link to battery .

Not an Aooci, but I have a Chigee that does the same thing and it’s been great.

I had a pair of USB sockets next to the dash to plug my phone into when on its migsel mount. The power to these was just via wires from the battery, switched via a relay and autoswitch device, to a pair of spade connectors, so easy to remove from the old device and connect the bare wire ends of the Chigee to spades and slot them together. Shrink tube protects it all from the elements and it all took about 20 mins. A 0.75-1 second press of the indicator cancel button actives the relay and powers the Chigee when the ignition is on.
