Apple TV?

So, the little black Apple TV box looks rather clever - there are a few Apple fans on the forum so......

Q1 - does it work with a PC?
Q2 - can it play any content (e.g. BBC iPlayer, own videos etc) or only Apple/iTunes stuff?

Q1 i would have thought so.

Q2 it should play anything that is acceptable to itunes.

some uncertainty, as i only have the old model, which seems better to my mind.

new one should do all sorts of stuff once it's hacked (it already has been, but it's not generally available yet AFAIK).
