Ultra’s are both GPS and cellular. You can also use them for Scuba diving. The battery on these is much bigger and thus lasts much longer than normal Apple Watches. They can use an e-Sim or a normal mini Sim. You can use the watch like a mini iPhone as it has its own signal once you’ve linked it to your iPhone, so for running etc you don’t need your phone with you to take calls/texts.
