applecross this weekend

hi all,im headin to applecross this weekend on my own coming home tuesday,and was hoping someone up that neck of the woods could kindly give me a weather update.
 
manythanks,i had to ask as one weather site was saying quite sunny with a few showers while the other is saying heavy wind and rain with snow on the hills.i hope im not doing 5mph dragging my ankles through snow all the way through glencoe and over the pass.
 
I'm not far from Glencoe and its pissin it down! put waterproofs on as oonyack says and go with the best weather forecast!
Met check do a pretty good guess just put in the post code of Applecross.
Like me old uncle used to say its black over Bills mothers.

just packing the last crap and throwing extra water proofs on as well...:blast we should be up there over the weekend.

I must pack the rear pegs for King Johnny....
 
I'm on it have sent a PM aiming for applecross on saturday but not too sure how it'll go.

Ow do you spot um? Its easy wi us yorkies, hands firmly in pockets flat cap and a ferret down't trousers.
 
12 of us heading over from Oireland in 2 weeks to do a bit of a tour. Staying in Glencoe for a couple of nights so planning a trip to Apple x on day 2 and then its over to the east to Fraserburgh.:aidan:aidan

Can't wait. Is there any long range forecast for the area???
 
i and my girlfriend are heading over on the day after the NW200 for a week's camping around Scotland. Plan to be in Applecross for 2 nights, if it's as nice as everyone says. maybe use it as a base and nip over to skye sans luggage.

Plan to be in Applecross for 2 nights, if it's as nice as everyone says.

Applecross is well worth the run up there Si and the Applecross Inn does good grub too. :thumb2
